Japan 2001

Abe-san's Ebishima Farm House

In addition to the soba noodles we had the small fish from the fireside and the diakon that was cooking in the pot with some of Abe-san's home made miso paste on it. We had various drinks, including a bottle of wine I brought from California. A lot ef enjoyable conversation andsome musical entertainment by some of os there.

Naomi and Tsukiko are really enjoying the cooked fish on a stick.

Kazuo-san like it too.

The three ladies, Naomi, Yoshiko, and Tsukiko, are looking down from the loft above.

Mrs. Abe is trying out the harmonica.

Tsukiko entertained us all with her beautiful harmoonica music.

Almost the same photo - but not quite. (I needed something to fill in this empty spot)

After dinner we all went to bed - on the floor. Naomi, Tsukiko, Yoshiko and Steve in the loft. The others in different rooms downstairs somewhere. Next day we had trypical Japanese breakfast - miso soup, rice, fish (from the previous night), tea and fruit. After breakfast we took a walking tour of Abe-san's farm and the neighborhood and then went to the festival in Ebishima village.-           pnext.gif
