Heart Mountain in Wyoming was the location for one of the internment camps
for American citizens of Japanese descent during WW-II. The scenes on this
page were developed from photographs taken both during the internment period
and more recent photographs taken after all traces of the camp have been removed.
Today there is a museum and visitor center nearby the camp location where
the story of the war years at the camp is told.
