Mount Fuji is a famous landmark in Japan. It dominates the landscape in central Japan and is revered by the Japanese people. They believe it almost has a life of its own. In fact, this volcanic mountain exhibits many many mood and character changes throughout each day. It even "creates" its own weather pattern.

On my last two trips to Japan I spent some time visiting Mt. Fuji and making sketches of the various moods I saw and felt there. On these pages are some of my impressions of Mt. Fuji during that time. . . . . . . . Yoju
